Donate to Sustaining Lifesaving Health Care in Somali Peninsula
Since the freezing of foreign aid on January 24, our teams in the Somali Peninsula have had to shut down 13 health facilities and 1 mobile clinic - leaving tens of thousands without lifesaving care.
There is no one else coming
Alight is often the only aid group reaching vulnerable displaced communities in Somalia. As our Horn of Africa Executive Director said, “There is no one else there if we pull out.”
Your donations will allow us to:
• $250–$300 → keeps one health facility running for a full day
• $7,500 → supports one facility for a month
• $40–$60 → covers the cost of one safe delivery
• $80–$100 → provides primary health care for one child for a full year
